In The Beginning

When we first ventured into the world of social media marketing, one of our early clients was a national online cabinet retailer. Having started as a small, brick and mortar family business, they had pivoted to ecommerce and were carving a niche for themselves with ready-to-assemble cabinets and home accessories geared towards contractors and the do-it-yourself crowd. Their affordable products had been featured on HGTV and DIY Network programs, but their social media strategies had been disjointed thus far, and they were in need of assistance.

We were happy to step up to the challenge, and our team quickly became an integral and consistent presence for the company and its founder. Over time, our expertise and online marketing efforts led to a branded and more cohesive message across several social media platforms, leading to an increase in followers on Instagram by 10K and 90K on Facebook for our client. A large part of this success story involved blogging, with regular articles posting twice a week for the ready-to-assemble customer base. Over the years, our client branched out with a sister company that specialized in high-end custom cabinets for the home. While the products were similar, the demographics were different, and we were tasked with creating unique content and messaging for both companies that would be on brand and tailored to each target audience. In short, our social media marketing and blogging work quickly doubled and required a creative, methodical approach.

Through quality ghostwriting, and by using a consistent and distinct voice for each business, we were able to establish our client as a thought leader in the home improvement industry. In fact, our work recently garnered national attention from DMS Insights, a global digital advertising news site. We were able to share our “expertise in content marketing” by creating a “lifestyle blog that covers topics ranging from charcuterie to budget remodeling,” and “prioritizing keywords and phrases to optimize their SEO performance to reach consumers.”
