In addition to this new role, Aliya has also served as the Co-Chair of the Program Committee for NAWBO Philadelphia since 2022, with a focus on the planning of both social and business-related events that fuel personal and professional development for women entrepreneurs in the Greater Philadelphia region. Aliya has been a member of NAWBO Philadelphia since 2020 and says she is excited to not only continue helping with the development of incredible programs for the chapter, but also to lead in this new executive capacity as Vice President. “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this wonderful organization for another year and to work alongside the amazing women on the Volunteer Board of Directors!” Aliya also received an award for being the 2022-2023 Rookie of the Year at the NAWBO Philadelphia annual board meeting this past June in recognition of her efforts as the Co-Chair of the Program Committee.
