Since its founding in 2001, Brandywine Health Foundation has experienced incredible growth while striving to create a thriving, inclusive, and healthy community for all. Inspired by an advancing and evolving mission, this philanthropic organization in Coatesville, Pennsylvania recently went through an extensive rebranding to better communicate the work needed to meet their current and future goals. The team at Aliya Hammond Consulting is proud to have played a part in their ongoing journey, and we would like to share the details of this amazing transformation.
Introducing The Alliance for Health Equity
Throughout this past year, we have helped Brandywine Health Foundation increase their impact and online presence by managing their social media platforms, website, and blog. In early summer, we learned that the foundation would be adopting a new name, a new logo, and a completely new look, and we were excited to pitch in and do our part in the rebranding effort. Alongside the foundation and an outside team of branding specialists, Aliya Hammond Consulting went straight to work on facilitating this exciting change for our client. And on October 26, 2021, The Alliance for Health Equity officially launched.
Working Together
Brandywine Health Foundation embarked on a full rebrand, including their web design and social media. This was a huge undertaking that required a cohesive team effort. The foundation was responsible for the website copy and providing updated photographs, while the branding company focused on the new name, logo, color scheme, and fonts, as well as creating an introductory video for the site. Given the designated details of the rebrand, it was our job to use that information to physically update the web design and all social media platforms to reflect this new direction and vision.
Outlining Our Process
A large amount of our work involved changing over the domain name within the website content, but from the start, our main goal was to develop a responsive, mobile-friendly website for our client. In an effort to provide an excellent user experience, this new web design features some really nice details, as well as lots of interactivity. Highlights include the ability to click and enlarge images, and an eye-catching photo collage on the home page. We also added animated effects that incorporate movement on the site, such as rotating icons, text that slides-in, and features that fade as you scroll down the page.
