Always Loyal, Always Valued
Founder, CEO, and South Jersey native, Alyssa Fredes, named her company after her beloved dog, Oakley, with the tagline, “Always Loyal, Always Valued.” Noting that her goal was to “support fellow small businesses along their journeys forward,” she strived to put together a website on her own and found it was not as professional as it needed to be. She wanted something that really showcased who and what Oakley Group was about — something easy to use with a lot of resources for her clients. After meeting Aliya Hammond through their Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program cohort, Alyssa reached out for help.
Doing What We Do Best
The Oakley Group prides itself for their experience, expertise, and customized solutions, and so do we. Freeing Alyssa up to focus on her business, we stepped in to take care of her website development and design needs. Visitors to the new site are greeted by an inviting, comforting aesthetic inspired by nature, with earthy shades of green, soft white, and gold, and a lovely logo featuring the company’s namesake, Oakley the dog. Small details, such as dynamic text features and a counter on the home page, add to the design and user-friendly functionality of the site.
On the “About Us” page, we utilized a mix of professional and casual images (guests can hover over the first to see another underneath), befitting the image and brand of the company. We also included a fun fact and favorite quote from each team member to help visitors really get to know The Oakley Group. Along with information on the services offered and how to contact the company, the new website also includes a “Community Impact” page and blog to drive traffic and further develop the ever-important know, like and trust factor.
Focused on providing resources for Alyssa’s clients, as requested, there is an “Events” page that allows guests to add events to their calendars, as well as a tab to quickly request a detailed quote. We are currently working on a “Resources” page with “the latest and most helpful tools for all your accounting and HR needs.” But our work doesn’t end here. Included for our client is a custom dashboard on the back end with tutorials and instructions for managing the site in-house, going forward. We also provided website training and will be offering continued support, post-launch.
